Real fares, from the right point of sale, from sites built to stop you
Airline and hotel pricing collected past the heaviest anti-bot on the web, localised to the market you sell in, fresh enough to book.
Same seat, same dates. Which fare is real depends on where the customer is.
Travel fare aggregation depends on the fare a local traveller sees. Residential and mobile proxies put your own collector on a local IP; the Unlocker API returns fare pages as structured JSON with anti-bot checks handled. Failed requests are free.
Why travel fare aggregation is hard to do at scale
Travel sites are among the most heavily defended on the internet, and the defence is aimed at exactly one thing: fare scraping. Airlines and booking engines deploy the strictest anti-bot stacks and rotate them often.
Fares are also hyper-local. The same seat costs different amounts depending on the country the search comes from, the currency, and the point of sale. Collect from the wrong place and you have a number nobody can book.
And the fare often does not live at a URL. It exists only after a search: origin, destination, dates, passengers. A collector that can only fetch pages cannot reach it.
How Datafuel handles travel fare aggregation
The Unlocker API is built for the protections travel sites use. It handles rendering, fingerprinting and CAPTCHAs inside the request and returns the fare data, from a network that airlines cannot distinguish from real travellers.
Residential and mobile proxies with country-level targeting put every search at the right point of sale, so the fare you collect is the fare a customer in that market would pay. For engines where the result only exists after a search flow, the Cloud Browser will run the search and capture the result. Cloud Browser is coming soon.
Keep your collector and fix the network, or hand us the URL. Same IPs, same billing rule.
| Residential proxies | Unlocker API | |
|---|---|---|
| You bring | your own scraper and parser | a URL, and a schema if you want JSON |
| You get | the raw page from a local residential IP | Markdown or structured JSON, past any protection |
| Targeting | country · region · city · ASN · OS | country and city, per request |
| CAPTCHAs | handled by your scraper | handled inside the request |
| Billing | per GB, traffic never expires | per successful request, credits never expire |
| Best when | you already run a working scraper | you want pages without maintaining a parser |
Many teams use both: the API for the pages that block, proxies for the collectors they already run.

- 03Fares, availability and fare rules return as structured data on your schedule.
What to watch for
- Fares expire in minutes. Collect close to when you will use the data, not on a nightly batch.
- Fare rules matter as much as the fare. Capture the conditions, not only the price.
- Travel sites update defences often. Expect success rates to move; the per-domain dashboard shows when.
