Acceptable use policy

Collecting publicly available web data for lawful purposes: price and catalogue monitoring, SERP and ad verification, brand protection, market research, AI training and RAG datasets, QA and localisation testing, academic research, and the use cases documented on this site.

• Any activity that is illegal in Italy, the EU or the country where the target or the exit is located.
• Accessing accounts, systems or data without authorisation, including credential stuffing, brute forcing and exploitation of vulnerabilities.
• Denial-of-service, flooding or any traffic intended to degrade a target.
• Fraud: fake accounts for payment fraud, coupon or bonus abuse, ticket scalping in breach of law, click or ad fraud.
• Distributing malware, phishing, spam or unsolicited bulk messaging.
• Child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits minors — reported to authorities without exception.
• Harvesting personal data in breach of the GDPR or other privacy law, or targeting individuals for surveillance or harassment.
• Reselling raw access to the network without a written reseller agreement.

• Scrape public data; do not bypass authentication you are not entitled to.
• Respect rate limits proportional to the target; the Unlocker API retries for you, so do not hammer.
• Honour lawful take-down and deletion requests you receive for data you collected.
• Do not collect or process special-category personal data unless you have a lawful basis.

We monitor traffic metadata — never bodies — for patterns that indicate abuse. Depending on severity we may warn, throttle, suspend or terminate the account, and we report criminal activity to the competent authorities. Suspension for breach of this policy is not refundable.

• First violation, low severity: warning and required remediation.
• Repeated or medium severity: temporary suspension of the affected product.
• High severity or illegal activity: immediate termination and, where required, referral to authorities.

Website owners, device owners and third parties can report abuse at abuse@datafuel.ai. Include the IP address, timestamp (with time zone) and a description or log excerpt. We acknowledge within one business day, investigate every report and can block a target domain network-wide at the owner's request.

Device owners who contribute bandwidth through a partner app can withdraw consent at any time from the host application, or by writing to abuse@datafuel.ai with the app name.
